The weather today was overcast, but quite calm and lovely to be out. The whales were seen North Hjalteryi and also by Hrisey. Our express tours had a very close encounter with one of our favorite Humpbacks Whales named Piccolo.

In the afternoon we had an incredible Minke Whale encounter where we got to see the whale very actively surface feeding. We stayed with it as it lunged out of the water, putting on a great show. This whale was feeding on Herring, which we know because we could actually see the little schools of fish jumping from the water.

It was another amazing day.
