Sun is back. Sunny all day, with increasing wind throughout the day. Very calm in the morning.
We encountered whales on all our tours, some more some less but always at least 3-4 Humpback Whales. In total there were about 7 Humpback Whales in the area east of Hrísey. The views today were spectacular especially since we haven’t seen the clear sky in a few days. Snowy peaks all around us. Tomorrow is looking sunny again so we are excited about that!

Late afternoon update, all is good, we have found the whales again, they were moving around the same area and with our 5 pm tour they moved a few kilometres further North of Hrísey, it is hard to say how many we got to see there, but it was definitely over 10 Humpback Whales, so that is a surprisingly large group sticking quite close together.
