Southern/South-East wind. Overcast cloud cover. Warm air temperature.

Today we encountered one Minke Whale near the area of Gáseyri. A little further north-east, near Strytan, we saw many Humpback Whales. These whales were all within a hundred meters of each other, frequently interacting and swimming together. They came up very regularly and on many occasions just next to our boats. There appeared to be around six whales in that area.
