There was moderate wind coming from the North, but, the visibility was high with a partly sunny sky.
We sailed to the area between the Green Buoy and Hjalteyri; here we saw many whales. They were Humpback Whales and we estimated the number to be somewhere in the region of 8. The whales were fairly spread out and a few of the whales quickly moved South so it was difficult to estimate the number. Many of the whales looked to be the same individuals from previous days and our encounters were at a range of distances.
