The day started off beautifully, mirror calm sea, a cloudy sky but still plenty of blue gaps. It was a perfect day to be out on the water and we had a bigger surprise when we found a blow of a humpback whale. When we got closer we noticed that there were 4 humpbacks side by side, it was incredible, within this 4 we identified '50 Shades of Black' whom we have been seeing on and off since May and Birdie, seen the last few days. Later on the wind picked up and it was a lot colder on the later tours. The guide saw a whale breach but unfortunately the passengers were looking at a blow from another individual in the other direction. Very disappointed faces but they still enjoyed the tour. There were so many fulmars and arctic terns on the tour and it was nice to see the reflections of them as they flew close to the waters surface. Another awesome day with the Eyjafjord wildlife.
